Jane Doe 46
Memoir
Sixty years of silence, a lifetime of suppression and fear, suddenly comes to life, when the horrors of the past catch up with the victims of the clergy sex abuse scandal at the St. Helena Cathedral in Helena Montana. The children lived in anguish and silence hiding secrets of their youth, living with a mentally ill mother, and being sexually abused in an orphanage and Catholic School by priests from the clergy. The haunting memories of their adolescence returns to their present lives as the other victims begin to step forward. Does the controversy and public awareness of these sex scandals towards the children open the doors to their sanity? This riveting story tells the reality these children lived through. |
