Treesong
Treesong is an author, publisher, talk radio host, and Real-Life Superhero. He writes novels, short stories, reviews, interactive fiction, and poetry. His favorite theme is the climate crisis and climate justice.
Since early childhood, Treesong has enjoyed reading, watching, and writing science fiction, fantasy, horror, and other speculative fiction. As an adult, his appreciation of fictional heroes and superheroes inspired him to participate in real-world efforts to do good in the world. One day, he realized he could combine two of his greatest passions by writing about the climate crisis and climate justice. Since that day, he has written and published a growing collection of novels, short stories, reviews, interactive fiction, and poems that serve as entertaining and thought-provoking explorations of this and other themes. In addition to writing, Treesong enjoys reviewing and promoting the books of other authors whose works explore similar themes. To this end, he has established a climate-themed bookshop on Bookshop.org, an online bookseller that supports local, independent bookstores. Treesong’s Bookshop features reading lists full of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry that can inform and inspire readers about the climate crisis, climate justice, and related topics. Treesong also strives to educate himself, his readers, his listeners, and the public about the climate crisis and climate justice. His website, treesong.org, features a Climate Resource Center filled with information and links organized into categories such as climate science, news, fiction, nonfiction, art, music, games, and beyond. Many other sites offer information about some particular aspect of climate, but Treesong’s Climate Resource Center is one of the only sites that offers a broad introduction to so many different types of content on the subject. Whether you're looking for Treesong's own writing, climate books, climate reading lists, or other climate resources, you'll find it all at treesong.org! |
