Toni Cabell

When Toni told her fifth-grade teacher that she wanted to be a writer, neither of them expected Toni’s journey to include stints as a nurse’s aid, personal banker, instructional designer, real estate broker, systems analyst, and youth director. Toni is thrilled to be an indie author and does at least half her writing in the middle of the night, which may explain her wild plot twists and unforgettable characters.

Today, Toni writes award-winning, clean fantasy stories filled with strong FMCs, protective MMCs, imaginative magic, and romance that sizzles without the spice. Whether you’re a fan of fast-paced, YA fantasy adventures with a dash of swoon, or cozy urban fantasy packed with heart-stealing kisses and small town charm, you’re sure to find something to love.

Toni’s novels have earned recognition from the Christlit Book Awards, the Wishing Shelf Book Awards, the Global Book Awards, and Indies Today Awards.

She makes her home in a small village along the shores of Lake Michigan with her handsome husband and rambunctious Yorkie, where she enjoys generous supplies of strong coffee, too many pastries, and more books than she can ever read.

Toni loves to stay in touch with her readers. Please sign up for her newsletter at tonicabell.com, where you can download a free novella.

Nari Arlyss, the future Liege, is about to marry the wrong man. Her fiancé, with his slipshod magic skills, harsh laugh, and fondness for hunting wild boars, will never make her happy. The man is dashing to be sure, but he is also arrogant and potentially unstable.
