Jean-Philippe’s dreams have finally come true. Influenced by his favorite childhood novel, Around the World in 80 Days, he has moved to London, become a journalist, and traveled the globe. But his balance begins to waver when he receives a call from his mother. His father, to whom he hasn’t spoken in five years, has been diagnosed with cancer. Jean-Philippe must return to Quebec to redefine his place in the world, not only with his family, but his friends, his lover, and his writing. “Distance isn’t measured in kilometers, but in the absence of human contact.” |
