Patty Lesser
Patty Lesser was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Leaving Halifax, the family moved to Hamilton, Ontario, where Patty grew up; attending Binkley, Dalewood, Westdale Secondary, and Hamilton Collegiate Schools. In addition, she completed a year of university at McMaster University in Hamilton before she left Canada to live in Israel for five years where she attended and completed her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature at the Tel Aviv University.
With the excellent salary she was paid while working in Toronto, Patty was able to travel to the Dominican Republic, England, Holland, Belgium and, in 1993, she left Toronto to live in Australia for a year. Patty returned to Toronto for a couple of years but was unable to settle down and moved between Toronto, Hamilton and places overseas for a few years. In 2002, Patty returned to the Hamilton area where she lives and creates her novels. |
