Charlie has lived life trying to avoid her mother, a narcissistic Sydney media personality who has put her career before her family for all of Charlie’s life. Desperate to forget the last year of her life, and escape the City, Charlie and her Dad, Mitch, move south from Sydney to the coastal town of Cronulla. But the memories of recent events flood her mind and stop her from breathing...then the blackouts come. Charlie meets similarly - distant Tyler, also new to the school. Tyler forced to leave promising career possibilities, elite schooling and all he’s ever known in Melbourne, finds himself on the run from someone else’s mistake. And sometimes mistakes have serious implications on our lives especially if the mistakes are made by someone we love. Falling for Tyler comes with a price, one Charlie is prepared to make even when they’re on the run from unexpected danger, with Tyler surviving a gunshot wound and both forced into witness protection.
