Michael Sommermeyer
Michael Shawn Sommermeyer was born in San Diego, California to Irish and German parents who taught him to tell stories from childhood. He started as a news anchor writing 75-words for each story. Now he writes in the pulp fiction genres; short stories of crime, hard-boiled detectives, science fiction, very short fiction stories, and westerns. Many of my stories have science fiction or fantastical events with surprise endings.

Short Fuse Stories: A Very Short Story Collection
Fiction, Short Stories
A collection of very short stories exploring space oddities, relationships, murder, youth, reincarnation, and a host of other subjects all popping off the page in roughly 50 words."The writer jumps from one idea to the next making you cry, cringe, and smile." "Just when you think you see the ending, it jumps off in a different direction. Too much fun!" "I keep this on my desk for inspiration or when I need a laugh. I never thought you could tell so much in so few words." |
