Lucien Telford
Lucien Telford is a Canadian writer with a British heritage, and a commercial pilot with a Canadian Airline. Lucien has travelled extensively, living in Hong Kong for a multi-year period. His debut novel, “The Sequence,” draws heavily on those experiences.
“The Sequence” weaves together the stories of several characters; a pilot who smuggles contraband for an organized crime syndicate, a world leading geneticist making changes to human DNA, and a pair of Hong Kong police detectives investigating a series of murders that only take place during typhoons. The novel asks intriguing questions regarding the ethics surrounding the future of human genetic modification, and the global distribution of power. Lucien enjoys reading the works of Hunter S. Thompson, William Gibson, Philip K. Dick, Margaret Atwood, Tolkien, and many others. He now lives in Whistler, British Columbia with his wife Katie, and enjoys all things outdoors. |
