If there is a stumble-trip-laughter road to success, please point me in the right direction. Otherwise, I've been doing this all for the amusement of two kids (who can't read my stuff) and the bewilderment of a lovely wife (who doesn't read my stuff). Brilliant!
Seriously, though, I love to put characters in bizarre situations and frightening settings. In Endgame, my heroine has a sniper rifle, her wits and four fellow soldiers to survive being stranded on a winter planet. In Tempest Road, my soccer-playing hero is marched at gunpoint through the Colombian jungle. Fun! In real life, I parent, coach soccer, cook, sing (all badly) and work on websites. |
