He has traveled in 69 countries from the high mountains of Peru, the Karakoram, and the Hindu Kush, to the deserts of Australia, Africa, and China. From diving the Atlantic, Indian, Mediterranean, and Pacific Ocean to ascending previously unclimbed peaks within the Arctic circle of Northern Greenland; he is always searching for new interests and new ideas. His books are set against the background of his travels, where anything goes in the fight against evil.
