I am a complicated mind living within a simple body. My current hobbies include washing, sleeping, playing the guitar, playing Xbox360 games, Aikido, talking to my wife and reading for university. Oh yes and I am also a self-published author. I have also had my share of run ins with authority in the past, leading to my presently being...currently on a community treatment order for a mental illness. Please note I got out in January 2012, and have been living in my own house since then! I am also studying for my undergraduate Sociology degree at Derby university, which is going well. My wife Margaret is the number one figure in my life, and dare I say my stepdaughter Michelle follows as a close second. Watch this space to see how their visa application and consequent appeal goes...Margaret and Michelle were successful in getting the visa to move to the Uk in July 2013.
Please note I live in the UK, am not a serial killer, and am now separated from my wife and daughter, although I do still have regular contact with them. |

A Patient in Time: Jojutsu
|
Fiction
Along with the rest of my books, A patient in time: Jojutsu is an at times riveting, at others difficult and at still yet others colourful mix of short stories (parables) and frivolousies taken from difficult moments in my life, and ripped to the page for all to see. Also concerns my (beginning) investigations into martial arts on the web. |
Fighting Madness

The writings within range from personal memories, stories of fictional characters and adventures, Biblical rewrites and other pieces of fiction largely plucked from the hemisphere and displayed within these pages for all and sundry to garner. One of the tales within is about how I met my then to be wife, and how we kindled our romance. |

A Journey through the Mountains is a personal take at one man's mental illness, seen through the lense of a year half way through an undergraduate degree. This journey includes discussions with his head, challenges faced in class and on the 'net, and a never ending balance between sanity and the abyss, as anyone who has ever faced up to mental health difficulties will surely be able to testify to! |
Uber

Disability Fiction/Memoir/Science Fiction
Okay this is his story. Let us start at the beginning. He was arrested, and his entire life flashed before his eyes. In the police cell he was pacing, punching the walls and breaking in his knuckles, and shouting extremities to the officers on guard. From the holding cell he was send straight to hospital, from there to Intensive Psychiatric Care, and from there to Low Secure, which despite it's misleading name is actually hard lockdown. Or lockup is it? That's to say nothing of the strip searches? LOL just kidding. That was to come later... |
Walking the Long Road Home
|
Disability Fiction/Memoir/Science Fiction
The end of a long walk... You put your feet up. Sit down with a coffee. And exhale. Nobody said it was going to be easy. Long journeys rarely are. And not all of those who you set off with, will make it through. But now looking back, we can reflect, and recollect. There will always be the next generation, to continue our legacy. That much is for sure. Hopefully they won't have to toil like we did. But wasn't it once said that the strongest of metals are forged in the hottest flames? And without Love, we have only a barren moon. Keep striving, and praying kids. And let us share in that. |
In Justice

Science Fiction
These are stories of Chris and Jojo, who meet for coffee and snacks. Face the bullies, and defeat them in mortal cot..Every time. Using their super powers to help them do so. (Please note this book was originally written in French, and thus is a foreign translation. Even though English is my native language. I wrote it in French to see if I could do so) |
