Joan is a wife, mother, grandmother and author from Western New York. She graduated from college with a degree in music education but life took her in a different direction. She is currently employed full time as a legal secretary. Her passion for music is still alive, and Nashville is her happy place. She loves country music and country music videos, which are like four minute stories, and sometimes she is hungry for more. She also loves love stories and Hallmark movies, especially that "initial spark" when two characters eyes meet for the first time. The idea for Summer Love In Music City was born.

On the surface, Summer Reynolds and Brody Martin are worlds apart. She is a small-town librarian and he is a famous country music superstar. But when their eyes meet backstage after a concert, their worlds collide in a moment of perfect serendipity. Summer had expected to feel star struck, but not love struck.
