I was born in Schenectady New York, and with my wife Annie Adams, I have been fortunate to have explored the world. We have lived in numerous places, including New York City; San Francisco; Marin County California; Coral Gables/ Coconut Grove Miami/ Florida; Phoenix Az. and Falmouth on Cape Cod.

My work experiences range from cleaning telephone booths in the Tenderloin District of San Francisco, to Senior Vice President of Sales for the prestigious company, Herman Miller Inc.

I am grateful that Annie and I have raised two amazing people: Our daughter Ashley , born in Fairfax Ca. and  our son Dade, who was born in Miami, Dade County Fla.  As a friend once remarked (about Dade's name,) "Thank heavens he wasn't born in Broward County"..

And I can't forget to mention my favorite people in the world, granddaughters Elle and Charley (Charlotte).

Shrinking is my second novel and first to be published. I've delayed my debut novel, (in re-write), DEATH IS FOR THE LIVING,  will be published sometime in the late Spring of 2017.

Shrinking

Picture
Mystery, Suspense, Fiction

He managed to escape the witch-hunt, but he couldn’t outdistance himself.

When Archie Moon flees incognito to Cape Cod, too bad his self-inflicted troubles accompany him.His shroud of secrecy arouses the villagers’ suspicions, and his combative behavior puts them on edge. He’s different, and the upright citizenry doesn’t tolerate different very well.

So it’s no surprise that when he lets slip a key detail in a local tragedy, that the police had withheld from the public, the locals are eager to accuse him. Operating under the influences of coincidence, misperception and malice, when they uncover his true identity and dark Sedona past, they jump to conclude that the young shrink got away with murder there and vow that he won’t get away with it here.

As another claustrophobic town closes in around him, a shocking death will follow, and Archie will be hard-pressed to convince anyone that killing isn’t his favorite pastime.
