Timothy Talks to Jesus

Picture
Children's Fiction

In Timothy Talks to Jesus, I wanted young readers to experience the childhood dilemma of wanting to talk to Jesus and have Jesus talk back to them. Timothy asks several people how he can talk to Jesus and gets many different responses. Ultimately, he discovers his own personal path in how to do so and is satisfied.

Some Glad Morning

Picture
Fiction

I was inspired to write Some Glad Morning by the election of the first African American mayor, Harold Washington, in Chicago in 1983. What stood out to me during this election was the coming together of people from different walks of life connecting with each other and finding commonality.
