Evelyn Elgin (the Kitchen Therapist)
Evelyn Elgin (the Kitchen Therapist) discovered the impact of food on moods at an impressionable age. From a family of ten, she grasped quickly the emotional rewards of licking chocolate chip cookie dough from electric beaters before others found them, of guarding her dinner plates from sneak attacks and of watching her brothers repurpose her sister's biscuits for their hockey pucks.
Over the ensuing decades, she resolved to blend these insights with creative recipes and quirky quizzes in a lighthearted cookbook--The Allmoods Cookbook--to help people manage their moods with humor and food. Eve is a retired tax attorney with an A.B. from Wellesley College, a J.D. from the University of Virginia and an LL.M. (Taxation) from New York University. |
