I have just finished my debut novel "Going Up and Going Down" and I plan to have the sequel, "Comings and Goings" published by the end of July 2014.

I have been happily married to Graham for the last eight years and I have a son and daughter from a previous marriage. I am also Nana to Jamie, Kyle and Kacey who are absolutely adorable.

Since leaving school I took exams in accountancy and have been a Company Accountant for quite a number of years. I have always known, since leaving school, that I would write a novel one day and I've done it at last. I have loved every minute of the last few months and although it is hard to have a full-time job and then come home to start writing, I wouldn't swap it for anything. Writing is my life now.

I have many hobbies; reading, cryptic crosswords, suduko and playing chess with my hubby. Before I started writing I used to play badminton once a week and the occasional game of tennis in the summer. I also enjoy writing poetry, but that is usually just for my own amusement.

I adore travel. Having visited most of the countries in Europe, I aim on seeing as much of the rest of the world as I can. I have been to the US, Canada, Barbados and Cuba, Singapore and Bali, and of the African Countries, I have visited Tunisia and Egypt! Still lots to see and do.
