Ethel McMilin
Jack and Ethel have been married for 60 years and have lots of grandchildren and even two great-great-grandchildren. McMilin worked for the Bureau of Land Management and retired as a computer specialist.
The McMilins lived in Alaska for 14 years and enjoyed their time there. McMilin has two fiction books written about the great state of Alaska which include incidents that actually happened. The books give you a realistic view of living in Alaska. The first book is called "A Cheechako's View of Alaska" and the sequel is "Mariah's Alaskan Heritage." Among her books is one sci-fi called "Kenan's White Shadow." There are three biblical fiction books: "Deborah's Palm Tree," and "A Fool a King and Abigail," and "Naaman and Hannah." |
After the Earthquake
At first Samantha didn't know what was happening when the building began to shake. She had attended a basketball game with William when he stepped over to visit someone. The Detective's Choice
As Christine entered her college to become a detective, her family tried to discourage her. In spite of the way they felt, she went to the classes and did very well. Once she was a detective, she loved the work. Her father still tried to get her to get a ladie's position but while she listened to him she kept right on with her chosen position. It did bring some friction and soon she was required to move out of the home where she was born. She thought it was time she moved out anyway. Once on her own, it was so nice not to have the continual nagging about her position. Some of her detective cases were easy and others were not quite so easily to solve and some were very interesting.

Homeless but Hopeful
Sheri married the man she loved. She never doubted his love for her. There was only one sad thing about her marriage and that was that her inlaws didn't accept her as one of the family. Her mother-in-law completely ignored her at the wedding and only listed her son's name on the gifts. Would she ever be able to change the situation sometime in the future and win her inlaw's favor?
