Dr. Matt's Plan: Living Longer and Healthier
non-fiction/health
Dr. Matt Ferenc believes in a ‘back to basics’ approach to health and wellness, and in his new book, ‘Dr. Matt’s Plan: Living Longer and Healthier’, he offers his unique views on the rise of modern diseases, obesity related illnesses and industrialized nutrition. Dr. Ferenc’s goal? To undo what he calls the ‘genocide’ and help people live decades longer, feeling healthier and happier than ever. The so-called ‘fountain of youth’ is elusive, and for many, out of reach due to poor or failing health due to industrialized nutrition. Even worse, doctors are often at a loss as to how to help patients achieve their health goals and as Dr. Matt Ferenc believes, unable to assist with preventing disease before it manifests and becomes untreatable. With the upcoming release of his book, ‘Dr. Matt’s Plan: Living Longer and Healthier’, Dr. Ferenc is committed not only to educate medical professionals on the evil of industrialized nutrition, but also how to help people recover from ‘man-made diseases’ through the use of food, nutrients and activity as medicine. As the author points out, his main goal with the book is to provide a much-needed wake-up call for other medical professionals. “Medical training evolved to treat diseases caused by food and environment and failed to teach medical students key prevention tactics. Medical education also failed to teach medicinal nutrients, which may hold the key to reducing, and reversing these man-made diseases and their consequences.” ‘Dr. Matt’s Plan: Living Longer and Healthier’ describes the history of food in the USA and how the industrialization of food is responsible for these man-made diseases. The book also describes medicinal foods and nutrients, sustainable long-term diet regiments and effective strategies for fat loss while sparing lean body mass. Lastly, Dr. Ferenc touches on new treatment regiments for many diseases utilizing medicinal marijuana. |
