Dan Allen is Canadian and enjoys spending time off the grid in Northern Ontario.
His story “Above the Ceiling” (Originally published in Home Sweet Home by Millhaven Press, September 2018) is featured in Bards and Sages 2019 anthology of The Year’s Best Speculative Fiction. His most popular publication to date, “Sympathy for the Zingara”, can be found in the March 2019 edition of ParABnormal Magazine. He is thrilled to have “The Basement” chosen by Jeani Rector to appear in the upcoming Horror Zine’s Book of Ghost Stories. Later this year watch for “Where Only the Mosquitoes Sing” (Monsters We Forgot), “Munchers” (Holiday Party 2019), “Footprints” (Through Death’s Door), “Become the Beast” (Erie Tales), and “Corn Stalker”(Fears of a Clown). Dan is currently working on the last chapter of his first novel, an epic tale spanning the decade before and after a devastating disaster that alters the lives of the people in Joshua Ridge.
