Kingsley reluctantly accepts the spy’s monetary offer knowing turning him down would risk the spy exposing his past to the world.
Kingsley’s scent is soon caught by a Toji Oguavor, a Special Investigations Detective, who reckons that Kingsley is conspiring with the militants to disrupt the upcoming government election and unleash a reign of chaos upon the city. Kingsley puts himself in further danger when he realizes that he’s been set-up from the onset, and the militant’s leader is someone from his past who harbors a deep-seated grudge against him.
Everything leads to a showdown at the militant’s stronghold where Lionel Parrish murders the militant’s leader as was part of his directive, but Kingsley overpowers him and after the army arrive to destroy the militant’s training ground, Lionel gets arrested by detective Toji, who’s already become aware of Kingsley’s innocence.
Kingsley and the detective return to the city in search of his missing wife and confront a militant soldier holding his family hostage in his home. Detective Toji kills the kidnapper, but Kingsley is fatally wounded. Meanwhile, Lionel Parrish escapes after murdering two policemen assigned to escort him to the city.
