Since the age of eleven I loved the word of writing and have written stories since that time. In my other life, I work in Equal Employment and Civil Rights for the Federal Government. Before becoming a public servant, I briefly practiced law after graduating from the University of Maryland School of Law.
I have self-published my novel as an e-book on various sites, including Amazon, and have printed hard copies on demand. I have a complete marketing plan, and have promoted my book in various arenas. I have submitted this story in several writing contests and received favorable reviews, including praise for witty dialogue. In 2008, I had a small thought piece published in the local Baltimore magazine B, and had a short story published in the 2012 winter edition of the Maryland Writer’s Association, Pen In Hand. I also participated as an actor and screenwriter in the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore chapters of the 48 Hour Film Project for the year 2012. In addition, I am an active blogger, and have completed another novel in the growing genre of urban fantasy. |
