Renaissance Nation
Sci-Fi/Post-Apocalyptic/Adventure
Safety. Security. For Christopher Stone and those closest to him these concepts evaporate in a matter of moments as the world is ravaged by a wave of violent transformation which leaves everyone facing an enemy no one ever prepared for. It starts out small, so subtly that anyone who could possibly do anything to counter it fails to take notice until well past the tipping point. The outbreak of savage behavior eventually spills over, leaving governments in shambles, infrastructure disrupted, and hundreds of millions seemingly dead. Stone and his family find themselves on different ends of the county, caught up in the aftermath of the event. As Stone races to them in hopes of making an escape to the rumored safe havens in the north, he stumbles across a possible explanation for the outbreak, and those who would see it continue for their own benefit. Pushed to the brink, in a new world where everyone finds themselves hunted, fighting for survival against one threat or another for days on end, the survivors just want to find a place that can truly be safe again. |
A Digital Christmas Carol
Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Adventure
Eric Swift is not having a normal Christmas Eve. While none of his holidays have been particularly normal since his successful rise from coding in an old apartment to running his own software firm, this particular one has taken an unexpected turn. Pre-occupied, dismissive to employees, slightly sadistic, and generally oblivious to the festivities around him, Swift is about to find out how unhealthy it can be to pay more attention to lines of code than those around him when a seemingly innocent gift combined with a new piece of technology at the company gives new meaning to the term total immersion. Before the night is over, he'll be confronted by mythical creatures, gangsters, and a relentless rival who pursues him every step of the way as he tries to find his way back to the world he thought himself ready to leave behind. And, if he's lucky, there may just be a damsel to rescue along the way as well. Or perhaps she just may be the one to save him. |

The stakes are quickly raised when a man Carver trails is found dead and Bernie is made the prime suspect.
