Anya Ison Wallace
Anya was born and grew up in England and now lives in Sweden. Alongside a career as a dancer, choreographer and cultural developer, Anya has always had a pencil and paper close at hand. Scribbles, ideas, poems and short stories have created piles around her work space, these occasionally being assembled into some kind of order. Her interest in language has also led to her doing translations from Swedish to English for cultural figures and institutions, including audio description for performance. In 2013, Anya collected together some of her poems from the period 1994–1998, and published them under the title “Mrs. Petty’s Laundry”. In 2022 she published her first novel, the global thriller mystery “WATCH but don’t TOUCH”.
