The Seven Points is a law enforcement memoir comprised of a series of extraordinary and striking incidents that occurred throughout a 30 career. The memoir is focused on the writer but it is also about his friends and fellow officers and some of the criminals involved is several significant and abhorrent crimes. The story reveals the vulnerability and humanity of the players from both sides of the law and it reveals a singular and stark truth that death follows all of us and that it can happen early and unexpectedly.
