Angie Robinson

Picture
Angie Robinson lives in New Jersey with her husband and children who are all-too-quickly leaving the nest. She is busy working on many projects including other novels and a website devoted to her journey.

Angie is a midwestern transplant to the east coast and an ex-expat who traveled extensively in Europe for almost three years. Visiting cathedrals, castles and medieval towns never got old and will likely inspire a setting in one of her novels.

She writes about real life. We are all on an authentic journey, and her goal is to shine the light of hope in the darkness and to share the beauty of our common ground as fellow travelers.

Shadows of Truth

Contemporary Women's Fiction

Drea Hartman lives a fairy tale life as a suburban mom and Bible study teacher, but when repressed memories begin surfacing as dreams, her life unravels into a nightmare of rage, revenge, and long-forgotten secrets. Her search for answers and justice wreaks havoc on her marriage, threatens her faith, and tests her inner strength as she teams up with John Coleman, a grizzly older cop who mysteriously knows more about her history than she does.

Plunging into a downward spiral as each piece of the puzzle emerges from the darkness, she struggles to accept that she is experiencing PTSD, especially as her closest allies minimize her trauma. Filled with rage and repulsion, she heads towards self-destruction.

She is caught between a desperate pursuit of truth and the desire to put everything behind her and move on. Must she forgive in order to forget?
