Angela Annette

Picture
Angela Annette lives in a cozy studio apartment in Long Beach, California with her Persian/orange tabby cat Gza. When she is not writing, she is engrossed in hours of video game play or dancing the cha cha. Most importantly, Angela is an advocate for the well being of children and is working towards building and running an orphanage in Africa. Her dream and life goal is to raise up orphanages all around the world, in hopes of giving a child a childhood and a shot at life. "18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you." John 14:18 A percentage of sales will go to the building of an orphanage and care of orphaned children.

Young Adult, Fantasy

Blood claimed Ben's white t-shirt. Heavily and slowly, deep red spread throughout every fiber of it. Bewildered and stuck in my position, I cried out to him in my mind, my heart. I tried to breathe. Struggled to find his name with my tongue...finally I inhaled and reached for him, "Ben!" He stumbled back and tipped over the edge of the boat, into the danger of the deep blue sea. A single tear dribbled down my cheek. The black of night woefully whispered the sorrows of his death. And I, I did something I would have never done. I stood determined to save him and ripped the orange vest from my chest. I ran, ignoring my mother screeching my name, "Eva, no!"--I dove in after Ben. I jumped into the deep blue...I would never return.
