Andrew spent 10 years as a serving member in the RAAF, from 1981 to 1992. He has a keen interest in marine life and enjoys his marine fish tank.
Andrew is a qualified Veterinary Nurse, and he is also a champion for animal rights and encourages people to adopt from animal shelters. Dax The Maine Coon cat was adopted from an animal shelter. Andrew is a grandfather to 9 girls! He is an Aussie lyricist, script writer, and author. His first children's book is called Atheisaurus 1: Bjorn and Zorn and stars a few fun little characters including two aliens, Bjorn and Zorn, Ptoni The Pteranodon, Florence The Jersey Cow, his very own cat, Dax The Maine Coon cat, and Penelope The Adelie Penguin. Book 1 (Bjorn and Zorn) is, in fact, an abridged version of a movie script. The script is for a musical, and includes 7 original songs.
