Ametra S. Rayford was born in Chicago in 1972. She is the author of several unpublished short stories and screenplays, though the experience of seeing one of her plays brought to life during a summer production still brings joy years later.
An avid reader and amateur chef, she enjoys cooking for friends and family when not buried in projects consisting of 75,000 words or more.
Her debut novel, DUALITY, was published in November 2018. It is a 2019 IAN Book of the Year Award Finalist in Fiction: Paranormal/Supernatural. Her second novel, VITAE, will be published at the end of 2019.

Or does it?
