Writer, creative and owner of Curly Q Media, Allison Janda has dreams of writing a New York Times Bestseller and believes that most life challenges should be faced while one is holding a glass of wine and a Reese’s. Her writing talents started at a young age and just kept blooming.
After attending Marquette University, Allison made a few pit stops on her way to becoming a full-time writer but never lost sight of the dream. She began a project entitled 365 With A Twist wherein she would write short stories along with a photograph she’d taken that day. When Allison couldn’t get one of the shorts out of her head, she knew that this was to be her first full-length novel. Allison finished her first book, Sex, Murder & Killer Cupcakes just in time to enter a first-time mystery writers contest. While she didn’t win that $10,000 contract, Allison scored something much better: the novel bug that had been laying dormant since she wrote her first book about a cow on roller skates back in first grade. Granted, it had only been 10 pages, so does that really count? Allison’s mother would say “yes.” |
