Dystopian, Military, Political Thriller
In 2061, the United States teeters on the brink of a second Civil War. Newly elected President Devin Cyrus, architect of the New Way, promises a Socialist Utopia. To achieve it, he must bring rebellious states to heel—by force if necessary. Oklahoma Governor Mary Whitfield stands in defiance, a fiery symbol of resistance fighting to preserve the Old Way of liberty—the dying embers of the Constitutional Republic. Backing the President is DeShawn King, founder of the militant 1619 Brigade. Driven by generational pain and a thirst for both justice and vengeance, he seeks to help remake the nation—even if it means burning the old one down. Trapped in the middle is Bishop Jackson King, a National Guard officer and moderate father, torn between his oath to the Republic and his love for a son marching under the New Way banner. The Sum of All Our Anger: Civil War 2.0 is a gripping, dystopian political and military thriller that explores the collision of family, faith, loyalty, and freedom in a fractured America. When bloodlines cross battle lines, what survives: the Constitution—or the New Way Forward? |
