Nancy Kaplan Corbett is a published non-fiction author on the subject of protecting public land, an environmental educator and facilitator, and an environmental lawyer. She has spent her entire career focused on sustainable and equitable environmental policy, law, and education, and has facilitated environmental education trainings and adapted curricula for grades Pre-school - 8, throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Passionate about water, environmental literacy, and environmental protection, she is fascinated by the imaginative ways children perceive and explore the natural world. Nancy has three children and lives in Newburyport, MA, with her husband and their perpetually happy dog, Iggy. Polly’s Sparkling Water Friend, published by Maine Authors Publishing, is her debut children’s book.
