Margie Crowe Wildblood grew up in a log cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. The youngest of six children and the first in her family to graduate from college, she earned a degree in English and Psychology from Radford University and a degree in Counseling from Purdue University.
Her career focused on counseling, including rehabilitation, active military, and veterans, and higher education. Since retiring from Northern Virginia Community College as a counselor and faculty member, she has participated in and moderated writing workshops through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at George Mason University. She writes nonfiction, poetry, essays, and short fiction. She has published prose and poetry in various print and online magazines and literary magazines. She published her memoir about a long-term relationship in 2025. |
