K. M. McKenzie is the author of The Civilization (2024), her debut African-inspired Young Adult fantasy. Her speculative short fiction appeared in Cosmic Horror.net, Scare Street, Strange Economics, and other publications. She publishes contemporary/romantic fiction under the name Kebra McKenzie.
