K.E. Wass is retired. She taught school, and practiced Marriage and Family Counseling before entering the real estate business with her husband. She was a leader in real estate for thirty years before selling the firm they built to an international company. She has a master's degree in psychology with an emphasis on death and dying. The years since her retirement have been spent as a patient's advocate for her husband, who passed away, and many others dealing with Alzheimer's and other terminal illnesses. She has written three books, two of which are self-published, with a third awaiting editing. She fills her time writing, playing golf, doing grief counseling, and walking her beloved Jack Russell terrier, Toby.
