Donald Young
|
Don Young was once living what many would call the American Dream. As a successful pharmaceutical marketing executive, he had achieved wealth, status, and professional achievement. But beneath the surface, he was deeply unfulfilled. After a lifetime spent chasing happiness through materialism and worldly accolades, Don experienced a profound spiritual awakening that led him to surrender his heart to God—and to Love.
This gift of transformation inspired his memoir, Finding God in Vegas, a deeply personal story of redemption, healing, and purpose. Don currently resides in Las Vegas with his partner of seventeen years and their cat, Harry California. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in history, religion, and philosophy and a Master of Arts in theology. He has volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America, Las Vegas Area Council, and served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada. |

Spirituality/Memoir
What happens when everything you were taught to believe turns out to be false? Don Young was a successful executive living the American Dream. He had the career, the status, the material comforts—but behind the corporate résumé was a lonely heart and a quiet ache for something more. Finding God in Vegas is the deeply personal story of one man’s journey from emptiness to peace—not through religion or material success, but through Love. A love that is unending, unyielding, and universal. A love that comes only from God—and can find you in the most unexpected places... even Las Vegas. This is not a book about being “religious.” It’s for anyone who has ever felt deserted, disillusioned, or disconnected from God because of shame, fear, or spiritual burnout. It’s for anyone ready to trade confusion for clarity and embrace the peace that passes all understanding. The love in this book is for you. |
