Dawn Secord is an award-winning illustrator and artist. Her work has won national and international awards including multiple Bests in Show for her fine art, Best Single Illustration awards, Best Illustrations for a Series award and Best Book Design. Dawn was a guest columnist for the Pastel Journal with a 5 page spread of her illustrative work featured in the Summer 2026 issue. She is a professional member of the SCBWI, Dog Writers Association of America and the Cat Writers Association. Dawn’s illustrations are hand created in pastel and may be seen on her website “adogbling.com” and “dawnsecord.com” as well as social media platforms.
